Meet Babs!<br/><br/>This sweet 17 year old found herself having to be surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own. Unfortunately, her owner could no longer have her where he resides. Now, she's just looking for a comfortable place where she can spend her final days. <br/>Babs is considered a hospice case due to her age as well as stage 2 kidney disease. However, she does not require any medication other than a supplement for her arthritis. <br/>Babs is an easy going gal and likes to spend the day relaxing in her soft bed. <br/>If you are interested in giving this sweet little lady a home, please apply or email cats@rispca.org with any questions.

The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant.
