Babine (Bonded with Buntzen)'s Story

Babine is a lovely 1 year old girl who’s slowly finding her feet and discovering the world around her. Babine arrived as a stray from Williams Lake with her momma, Buntzen, after a kind Good Samaritan brought them in from their property.

Babine is a shy but friendly girl whose curious side is starting to shine through! She’s already a little more confident and adventurous than her mom and likes to explore her room. Babine is interested in getting to know you, though she’s not quite ready for pets yet. Offer her a hand, and she might give you a soft tap. She enjoys playtime and zoomies, but is just as happy to put her paws up for a catnap. More than anything else in the world, Babine loves her momma! She is never far from Buntzen's side, constantly nudging in close. The two share a deep bond and "must" be adopted together.

Babine and Buntzen will need a quiet, calm, adult-only home with experienced adopters—ideally people who have welcomed shy cats into their home before. They’ll need a family that understands trust takes time and is happy to let them settle in at their own pace, allowing them to initiate interaction and touch when they feel ready. Babine is friendly with other cats. She uses her litter box well, is spayed, and is healthy.

Babine and Buntzen are such sweet girls, and it’s heartwarming to see the bond they share. We hope someone will look past their shyness and give them the chance to blossom and show just how special they are.

To learn more about Babine and Buntzen, please reach out or fill out an application.
