Azalea's Story

Hi! My name is Azalea and here is a bit more about me:

My Journey
I came into care through the FCC community cat program, where I began my transition into indoor life. I’m still learning all the rules of being a house cat, and I’m very curious about everything around me—especially places I may or may not be allowed to go!

My Social Life
I get along great with my siblings, Iris and Cosmo, and really enjoy having feline companions around. I’m also good with kids and don’t mind their presence. I haven’t shared much about dogs yet, but with the right setup and introductions, we can always learn more.

My Personality
Curious, clever, and always on a mission. I can be a little skittish at times, but mostly I’m busy exploring, sneaking into rooms, and trying to see what’s happening on the other side of the door. I like to stay active and engaged, and I always seem to be up to something.

I Enjoy...
Playing and wrestling with my sister, Iris
Chasing toys, balls, and anything that rolls or moves
Zooming after tails (including my own!)
Exploring and keeping myself entertained

I’m Not a Fan Of...
I don’t love being held or cuddled for long periods. I’m happiest when I can enjoy affection on my own terms—pets are great as long as I have my space.

What Makes Me Special
I have beautiful gray fur with subtle stripes in different shades, giving me a soft, striking look that’s as unique as my personality.

My Perfect Home
I would thrive in a home with another playful cat—preferably my sister—where I can stay active, curious, and engaged. A home that respects my boundaries while giving me plenty of playtime and companionship would be the perfect fit.

Young kittens are adopted in pairs or to a home with another playful kitty.
