Axis and Orbit's Story

Two Hearts, One Home

Meet Axis and Orbit, a pair of siblings whose bond is as special as their story.

Axis came to us from a local shelter with a permanent head tilt caused by an old ear or head injury. At first, we thought she had neurological issues, but the vet determined that her crooked little head is simply the result of past trauma. While Axis lives a happy, normal life, she does experience some vertigo and can lose her balance if she moves too quickly or tries to jump around too fast.

When we pulled her brother Orbit from the shelter to keep her company, we thought we were giving Axis a friend. What we quickly discovered was something much deeper- they werent just siblings. They were best friends.

Orbit is always watching over his sister. He follows her everywhere, sleeps beside her, and stays close whenever she needs him. More than once, hes literally been there to catch her when she lost her balance. Its impossible to spend time with these two without noticing how much they love and depend on each other. Axis may see the world a little differently, but with Orbit by her side, she never faces it alone.

We desperately want to find a family willing to open their heart to both of them. Separating them would break a bond that has carried them through every challenge theyve faced.

If youre looking for twice the love, twice the purrs, and one truly extraordinary friendship, Axis and Orbit are waiting for you. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They have a bonded pair fee of $125.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CCG/Cat
