Picture it....upstate New York, 2025...a single tabby kitten, found alone on the city streets. In his new foster home, he cries and cries until he meets his soul mate, another single kitten who is shy, scared, and unsure. Now the pair are best buddies and can be found snuggled up together purring, chasing each other, gently wrestling, and sleeping in a kitten pile on top of one another. Together, they are truly thriving, with Axel providing social butterfly Diesel the companionship he craves, and Diesel's outgoing personality showing Axel that it's safe to trust. <br/><br/>Diesel (named for his intense purr, that resembles a diesel engine) will be your immediate best friend, will follow you around the house, let you carry him around, and lie belly up, trusting you to give him the best belly rubs and will reward you with his diesel-engine purr. Axel is more timid, and will need patience as he continues to become more trusting of humans, but he has the softest fur in the world and his purr rivals Diesel's when he gets going! He will eat treats out of your hand, allow you to slowly approach him, and will purr when you pet him. Axel and Diesel would do well in a home with respectful older children. We rely solely on fostering, volunteers, donations, and adoption fees. An adoption fee of $350 ($175.00 per cat/kitten) must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
