Meet Avery! <br/><br/>Avery's story started outside at an apartment complex, where a kind resident fed her and eventually reached out for help when Avery had kittens. Trapped as a young feral mama, Avery spent months avoiding people and keeping her distance. But with patience, love, and the support of our Feral to Friendly program, Avery began to blossom.<br/><br/>Over time, she learned that people bring good things—like yummy treats and gentle pets. Now, Avery has become a favorite amongst our volunteers. She may still be a bit shy, but once she trusts you, she truly enjoys being loved on.<br/><br/>Avery would thrive in a calm, quiet home with no children or dogs. She would do best with another friendly cat companion to help her feel safe and confident. Ask us for suggestions on a companion for her at our Adoption Center! Though she's still working on coming fully out of her shell, Avery has made incredible progress and is ready to continue her journey in a forever home.<br/><br/>If you have patience, kindness, and a heart for second chances, Avery could be the perfect addition to your family.
