Avery's Story
Avery was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. Folks noting that he has an ear tip may be concerned that he is feral, but rest assured that Avery is a sweet but shy young man who is easy to handle. Some low-cost veterinary clinics in Texas insist on tipping the ears of every cat they fix, which is how Avery ended up like this. He is friendly but not super confident in new situations; however, now that he has adjusted to life at an animal shelter, he is showing off his social & loving purrsonality. Avery loves to get petting from his friends and is a very affectionate fellow. We recently learned that Avery was fostered with dogs and he LOVES them, especially his German Shepherd foster brother! Come meet this gorgeous and charming boy today - he'd love to go home with you (especially if you have a cat-friendly dog)!

If you'd like to meet Avery and all of his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
