AVEENA is a talkative 7.5 year old who seeks her purrrrmanent home. Aveena is friendly but shy. She doesn't like to be held much though she appreciates being petted and is quite the talker. <br/><br/>AVEENA is a pretty kitty who never had a health issue until 2024 when she was diagnosed with a throat polyp. It was removed by Dr. Mariel Covo at the Animal Medical Center on December 24th, 2024. Aveena is spayed, FeLV/FIV negative, current in vaccinations and microchipped. <br/><br/>As to the ideal home, Aveena would do best with a mommy or daddy who is present and who can give lots of attention. Aveena is expected to become a good mate for an existing kitty, preferably a neutered male or she could go alone as long as her person is present for her. Aveena has been fostered with many others and gets along with all the other cats in the home but due to some crowding she has not benefited from one-on-one with her person. She deserves to be Top Cat or at least, Second Top Cat. When at ease, Aveena likes to chirp and solicits conversation but will struggle against being held.<br/><br/>While we love to hear from prospective adopters, we request to have your signed application before we schedule a meet-and-greet in the foster home.
