She was found on the city streets, hungry and searching for kindness—but her spirit never dimmed. Now safe and loved in her foster home, Ava is blossoming into the affectionate, easygoing companion she was always meant to be.<br/><br/>Ava gets along wonderfully with her foster mates and enjoys quiet company and cozy naps. She’s still working on putting a little more weight on, but her playful spark and loving nature shine through every day.<br/><br/>This lovely calico would do best in a calm home with no dogs and children over the age of 13. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress.<br/><br/>PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match.
