Years of ongoing construction slowly took away every bit of shelter they had — first a shed, then their sleeping space inside a food compactor. Mostly seen only after dark once traffic settled, Autumn survived with the help of a dedicated volunteer who fed the colony nightly. When it became clear the cats had nowhere left to safely exist, they were welcomed into foster care where Autumn could finally rest indoors.<br/><br/>Life in Foster Care:<br/>Autumn is adjusting to indoor life at her own thoughtful pace. She coexists well with other cats and is familiar with dogs.
