Her one heartfelt request to us was simple: “Please find a good home for my boy.” And that’s exactly what we intend to do.<br/><br/>Austin is smart, curious, playful, and full of personality. He LOVES his toys — especially anything with a laser. Chin scritches? Yes, please. Lap time? Absolutely. And did we mention toys?!<br/><br/>Austin’s non-negotiables:<br/>• No small children — he’s not a fan of fast, unpredictable energy.<br/>• No other cats — Austin prefers being the only feline and king of his castle.<br/>• Dogs: Probably not, unless it’s an extremely chill, cat-savvy dog who respects Austin’s “I’m in charge” lifestyle.<br/><br/>What does that mean for his perfect adopter?<br/>You’ll get a confident, affectionate, highly entertaining boy who will bond closely with you… and the birds he’ll be watching from the window.<br/><br/>Austin is ready for his second chance — one where he finally gets the stable, loving home he deserves.<br/><br/>What do you think? Is this sweet, spirited boy the match you’ve been waiting for?<br/><br/>PLEASE READ<br/><br/>Adoption Fees:<br/>• $100 for adults (12+ months)<br/>• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)<br/><br/>All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.<br/><br/>We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.<br/><br/>Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.<br/><br/>Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs<br/><br/>Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy supports healthy play, emotional development, and confidence. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.<br/><br/>Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.<br/><br/>Adoption Requirements<br/><br/>To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require:<br/>• A completed adoption application<br/>• A home visit<br/><br/>?
