Aurora's Story

Aurora is a calico Domestic shorthair. She is Feline AIDS and Leukemia negative and up to date on vaccines. Aurora loves treats and is a sweet girl if you take your time to make her feel comfortable and trusting of you. She can have her moments where she will lash out if she feels threatened or overstimulated as she comes from a troubled background. She would do best in a home without children and with an owner who is willing to take things at her pace and work with her to gain her trust. If interested in adopting, please email Carrie Nylen at nylencarrie@gmail.com.

The first step in our adoption process is to complete our application, please reach out to Carrie via email at nylencarrie@gmail.com for a copy. Once we receive the completed application back via email, we will contact your veterinarian for a reference check. Please make sure you contact your vet and confirm that it is okay to release your history to Carrie Nylen. If you’re approved after a veterinary history check, we'll make an appointment for you to come to the shelter to meet the cats. Our cats do not go home with you that same day as they are seen by our veterinarian first to be cleared and updated on any vaccines beforehand. We do require that our cats remain indoor only upon adoption, remain up to date on annual veterinary care and are never declawed.
