Aurora's Story
Hello, my name is Aurora! I'm about a 2 year old tabico cat with lots of white fur. You may notice I have a claw mark across my face--it's hard being a cat on the streets, so I'm glad I'm in a safer place now where a good family can adopt me. And maybe they would also like to adopt me with my daughter, Niagara, who I'm sharing a cage with. We're not necessarily a bonded pair, but I love her so much, and she loves me, and we really love snuggling together, as you can see from our photos. In fact, the lady taking our photos had trouble getting individual shots of us because all we wanted to do was cuddle--her or each other! I do love being pet and I'm a very sweet girl, so I hope that's what you're looking for!

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.
Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm.
