Augusta's Story

Augusta was born in Nov. of 2020. She joined her fellow cat friends in 2022 when she moved to Minnesota. Augusta is a sweet but independent cat. Her foster mom doesn't think she received much attention in her previous home. She enjoys attention but on her terms. Usually she will be sleeping on the scratching post or looking out the window. She will watch the other cats play but rarely joins in on the action. Although she can be talked into playing if it is a kitten or frisky teenage cat. Augusta has a few toys that she will play with and bat around like her catnip toys. She doesn't mind the dog in the foster home and would do o.k. with a calm well-behaved dog in her new home. Augusta would do best in an adult home or in a home with younger cats. There are no children in her foster home so she probably shouldn't go to a home with children. It takes awhile for her to come around and be your best friend so she needs a patient owner. If you have questions or would like to meet her, please call 952-259-1483 or email us at cause4paws@hotmail.com Augusta's adoption fee is $225.00

The application gives us an opportunity to learn more about the potential adopter and whether or not the cat that they are interested in would be a good match. There is also an adoption contract that is completed at the time of the adoption. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, we typically will respond to an inquiry within 24 to 48 hours.
