Meet Augie! Augie is a sweet young adult ( about 2 years old) Domestic Short Hair (DSH) male who is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. Recently rescued, Augie is quickly showing everyone just how affectionate and loving he can be. He seems especially grateful to finally be safe, warm, and cared for — and to have a full belly! After whatever challenges he faced before being rescued, Augie is ready to enjoy the good life he deserves. He would love a forever family who will shower him with the same love and kindness he so happily gives in return. The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation for a cat is $320.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (fvrcp, rabies), microchip, exam, snap test ( only done on kittens if mama cat is not known) ,deworming and our cats are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $50.00 - $75.00). Our process at Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue consists of: - vet reference - phone interview - 3 personal references - home ownership verification or landlord reference - home visit - meet and greet If applicable : - meet and greet with current dogs/cats in your home. We feel strongly that it must be a match for everyone involved. Adopting a dog is a major lifetime commitment.
