Auberon's Story

This is Auberon. A name meaning bear like, and whist this girl does enjoy relaxing in a cave-like hut, shes not at all aggressive like a bear.-Auberon came to us with her sister, Audubon from Aulwood Nature Center. These girls were immediately put in foster and their personalities began to shine.-Auberon is the much more shy one out of the two, but with time, she thrives. She may run away from you at first, but after a few nights of adjusting, this girl starts to come out of her shell. Shell rub up on your legs and stare at you lovingly. Shed never admit it, but this girl loves scratches at the base of her tail and will lean on and flop over when given affection. Auberon prefers not to have her head scratched much but will openly accept body scratches when she feels up to it.-Auberon would do her best in a home with another cat. Weve noticed that she often runs to her sister when she gets stressed. It doesnt have to be her sister, but another cat there for emotional support would be best. Shes often seen playing with her sister, so other cats definitely allow her to get comfortable faster. This girl would probably do best in a home with quieter, older children, or none at all. A lot of energy can stress her out and cause her to go right back in her shell.-It may take a bit of time, but this girl is loving as can be with a little patience.Would you like to give her a chance?Apply today!

Please visit our website www.ourfarmsanctuary.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
