Atticus's Story

This is Attitcus. Yes, with that name. And yes, he lives up to it.

At 2 years old, Attitcus is in his prime: young, handsome, and fully convinced he is the main character. He has strong opinions, excellent whiskers, and a talent for appearing exactly where you didn’t expect him to be. He’s got that classic DSH look paired with an attitude that says, “I run this house, but you may live here too.”

Attitcus enjoys important activities like supervising everything you do, testing the comfort level of every surface, and reminding you that food should be served promptly and with enthusiasm. He can be sweet, silly, and slightly dramatic, often all in the same hour.

If you’re looking for a cat with personality for days, a sense of humor, and just enough sass to keep life interesting, Attitcus is ready to move in and take over. Adopt now. Resistance is futile.

This cat is available for adoption from Oceana County Animal Control. If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this cat's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact persons in the order they are on the list. The adoption fee is $35 and you receive certificates for $25 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies if not already done.
