She was found near Diamond Head, a survivor of a difficult pasther siblings tragically didnt make it due to bite wounds from either a dog or mongoose, and her mama, frightened by the danger, never returned. Despite her early hardships, Athena is full of love and energy. Shes playful (but not too rough!) and loves a good chase or pounce. When she's not entertaining you with her antics, she's all about cuddles and affectionmaking her the perfect mix of energy and snuggles. To meet a pet, a potential adopter should fill out the adoption application, receive a interview phone call, and be approved before meeting any cats. We do not use a first-come, first-serve process when adopting out cats, instead we focus on best fit for each individual cat. The process is intended to ensure a best-fit, long-term successful adoption for both the family and pet. We will sometimes require a home check on a case by case basis. In many cases, we recommend a foster-to-adopt scenario to be sure it is a perfect fit.
