Athena's Story

Athena is a sweet 3 year old kitty. Athena came to us very scared and pregnant. She had 4 babies and became a surrogate mother for 3 others. It now her turn to find a home of her own. She is shy at first but warms up and makes her way into your lap for cuddles. Her foster mom has taught Athena to play fetch!

Our Mission

We are a small foster-based rescue, based in Central Illinois. Our mission is to place animals needing a forever family into loving homes. The animals we take in are able to receive personalized care and avoid the stress of being locked up in a cage at a shelter. In a home environment, an animal’s personality can flourish!
