Because of that, Athena started out shy and unsure, watching<br/>quietly from the sidelines or more likely, under the bed.<br/>Since living with a foster, Athena has been making great progress. Day by day, she’s<br/>learning that humans and toys can be great fun, and there’s no need to hide.<br/>Toys—likely a brand new discovery for her—are now a source of enjoyment, and it’s a<br/>delight to watch her play with toys and other kittens with growing confidence.<br/>Athena is also discovering how good affection can feel. She’s learning to accept love<br/>at her own pace and with patience, consistency, and a calm environment, Athena<br/>continues to blossom into the sweet, playful kitten she was always meant to be.<br/>Athena would thrive in a gentle home that understands her past and celebrates her<br/>progress.
