You want playful kitten energy bursts?-he’s got it. Lap cat purring snuggles?-you bet. Need an experienced baker?-give him a soft surface and he’ll get right to work. Great with kids?-yep he’ll tolerate all the shenanigans. Other cats?-yes! Friendly-to-cat dogs?-absolutely! Adorable chirping sounds?-he’s got em’!

Atari is truly a social soul. Named after a position in the ancient game of Go, he threatens to capture everyone’s heart he meets. He’ll meet you at the door when you come home and follow you around during all your chores. His favorite spot in the house is with a human, right by the kitchen faucet, battling the never-ending water threat. He loves playing with the adult cats in his foster house and the elderly dogs but he could use a buddy with similar play energy as older animals can quickly get annoyed by his antics. He’ll let anyone pick him up and carry him around without protest, so he is great for kids who can’t resist a snuggle!

Truly a pleasure to be around, Atari is looking for his forever home!

Of note: Since coming off of the streets as a young kitten, Atari has had tummy troubles. These issues have been solved with a special GI diet and he’s feeling great about it! Work with a veterinarian to adjust him back to a regular diet may be done over time.

Please head to our website to fill out a free application to learn more about this cat and to start the adoption process.
