They are incredibly loving, resilient, and ready to be cherished in a home that recognizes just how special they are.<br/><br/>As the proud mama, Astra takes her snuggle duties very seriously! She takes a little time to adjust, but watching her blossom is incredibly rewarding.<br/> - The Vibe Check: Ballie just needs a quick moment to sniff your hand and confirm that you are, indeed, "friend-shaped."<br/> - The Reward: Once she knows she is safe, she melts into your pets and will even grace you with her signature baby, squeaky meow!<br/><br/>Their Dream Home<br/>These two complement each other perfectly. Astra brings the brave, playful energy, while Ballie brings quiet, tender affection. When they aren't playing, their absolute favorite shared hobby is "leisure-loafing". If your ideal day involves curling up under a cozy blanket with a book or a movie while two beautiful cats snooze the day away by your side, Astra and Ballie are the perfect match for you.<br/><br/>Astra and Ballie have leaned on each other through thick and thin. They are so ready to bring their double dose of love into a forever home. Could it be yours?<br/><br/><br/>All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper, and have had de-wormer medication as a preventive measure. All have tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Some kitties may even have a microchip.<br/><br/>HOW TO ADOPT<br/><br/>*Complete an adoption application on our website<br/>http://www.orphananimalrescue.org/adopt<br/><br/>*Contact your veterinarian's office and NON-RELATED personal references to expect a phone call from someone at OARS. This helps us process the application within 2 days.<br/><br/>We focus on providing personalized care for these cats in a loving, home-like environment. Cats live in cozy rooms (cage-free!) where they are able to play with their favorite toys, watch bird feeder activity, and nap in a favorite sunny spot.<br/><br/>We partner with other rescues and shelters when bringing pets to our rescue. We do not accept cats from the public. This approach allows us to help organizations near capacity or those with a special kitty that may need more attention. We are completely donation supported.
