Astoria's Story

Meet Astoria!

Astoria is a young mama—under 2 years old—who has already known hardship far too early in life. She gave birth to her five babies under a shed, doing everything she could to keep them safe. Thankfully, help arrived in time, and Astoria and her kittens were rescued and brought indoors. Her babies have all found loving homes… and now, sweet Astoria is still waiting.

This gentle girl has the most beautiful, loud purr—one that starts up the moment she feels safe and cared for. Her motor really runs, as if she’s making up for all the love she’s saved inside. Astoria is affectionate and kind, but also enjoys her independence. She’s perfectly content entertaining herself, basking in quiet moments, and soaking up sunshine when she can.

Astoria is currently fostered with other cats and does well with calm, non-reactive feline companions. She’s respectful and easygoing, but if another cat is a bit bossy, Astoria can stand her ground without causing conflict. She’s not looking for chaos—just a peaceful home where she can finally relax.

Spayed, vaccinated, and fully vetted, Astoria is ready to leave her mama days behind and start the next chapter of her life. She’s fostered in Bozrah, Connecticut and available for adoption through Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue.

Astoria has given everything she had to her babies. Now she’s hoping someone will choose her—and show her what forever really feels like. 🐾💖

——————————————————

ALL OF OUR CATS ARE or will be SPAYED OR NEUTERED.

The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation for a cat is $320.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (fvrcp, rabies), microchip, exam, snap test ( only done on kittens if mama cat is not known) ,deworming and our cats are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm.

Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $50.00 - $75.00).

To apply to adopt one of our cats fill out our adoption application at this link:
https://form.jotform.com/ChasingSunshine/chasing-sunshine-cat-adoption-appl

For questions email: chasingsunshinedogrescue@gmail.com
Check out our website at www.chasingsunshinedogrescue.org
We are also on Facebook, TikTok & Instagram
