When we got a call from a local animal control that a mama and 4 kittens had been found running across a busy road with a box left that they were clearly dumped in, we knew we had to help. The box had no food in it and a water bottle...with the cap still on. This specific animal control has no ability to take in any cats or kittens as they have no housing for them and 2 of the kittens were very, very sick. <br/><br/>This little family joined our rescue. Unfortunately, 2 of the kittens passed away from extreme starvation and dehydration and going their short lives with no deworming or proper care. We worked tirelessly to get mama and her last 2 little girls healthy. Mama Naomi was covered in fleas and ticks. She was extremely underweight and fighting horrible GI parasites, including coccidia. So were her two remaining kittens. After lots of SQ fluids, medications and constant care, the "Judd Family" is now thriving!<br/><br/>Ashley is an adorable, confident little kitty who loves to play, explore, and cuddle. She loves affection and will purr like a motor when she's in your arms! At her foster's she loves batting around her favorite toys and gazing out the window! We know black kittens don't get the attention they deserve, but this little lady deserves the world!! She is going to make an amazing kitty for the perfect family!<br/><br/>Ashley's adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, Felv/FIV testing, age appropriate vaccines, multiple dewormings and flea/heartworm prevention.
