Meet Ashley <br/><br/>3 years old Domestic Long Hair Mix. <br/><br/>Ashley has been part of our rescue family before.<br/><br/>She was originally adopted through our rescue years ago, before we transitioned to focusing exclusively on overweight cats. Recently, due to a significant life change, her owner made the incredibly difficult decision to return Ashley to us. It was a decision made out of love, knowing she would always have a safe place to come back to while we searched for her next chapter.<br/><br/>Like many cats, Ashley takes a little time to settle into a new environment. Give her a couple of days, and you'll see her true personality shine. Once she feels safe, she is one of the sweetest, gentlest little girls you'll ever meet. Her favourite place in the world is curled up beside her human, soaking up all the love and affection she can get.<br/><br/>Ashley also enjoys playing when the mood strikes, but if given the choice, she'll almost always pick cuddle time instead.<br/><br/>Her gorgeous, thick coat is one of her best features. It does require daily brushing to keep it healthy and mat-free, and she's very accustomed to getting lion cuts when needed. Her current haircut is slowly growing back in and she's looking more beautiful every day.<br/><br/>Ashley has excellent litter box habits and previously lived successfully with another cat, where she showed a gentle, more submissive personality. She also lived with a baby/toddler and absolutely adored them, making her a wonderful companion for a family with respectful young children.<br/><br/>She has received a clean bill of health from our veterinarian, is up to date on her FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, and is spayed and microchipped.<br/><br/>Ashley isn't looking for anything extravagant. She simply wants a soft place to nap, a patient person to love, and a home where she can feel safe enough to be herself. Once she trusts you, she'll repay that kindness with endless affection, quiet companionship, and the sweetest cuddles.<br/><br/>If you think Ashley might be the perfect addition to your family, we'd love to hear from you.
