Ashi's Story

Ashi (1.5 years old) was surrendered to the shelter by his owner. He just moved into a foster home where he is very happy to be in a home environment again; he made himself at home right away. He is fine with other cats but doesn't care too much for the dog in his foster home. Small kids aren't recommended for him because he'll give you a love bite if you are petting him and he's had too much (some cats get over stimulated). He is a very vocal boy and likes to talk to his people. His foster mom said he follows her every place, he wants to be every place his people are. He loves cardboard boxes, most times if his foster mom can’t find him, it’s because he’s sleeping in one of the cardboard boxes that she keeps around for the resident cats. This boy just wants love and a forever home. And as you can see he's a very handsome boy. If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!

Trenton Cats Rescue's Adoption Policy
When you are ready to adopt a new forever friend, we ask you complete our friendly questionnaire http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ which is designed to ensure successful adoptions for cats and their family. One of our volunteers will have a brief conversation with you to determine your needs and preferences, find out about your daily schedule, and talk about your previous experience with pets. This will help us determine which cat best fits with your lifestyle. It helps speed up the adoption process if you: • Understand and are willing to abide by the pet policy where you live (if appropriate). • Give your veterinarian permission to speak to our volunteers. • Have two personal references standing by, ready to talk to our volunteers.
