ASHER's Story
MEET ASHER! 2 year old Asher was brought to our shelter with his brother, Archer, as trap, neuter, release (TNR) cats but we quickly realized that these guys were anything but feral! Asher, with his warm golden eyes and gentlly affectionate personality, is such a lovebug. When you approach these boys, you can't pinpoint who is purring louder! Their adorable competition for headbutts usually ends up with them just headbutting each other. Asher is more forward and upfront with his affection, though he is extremely calm and gentle with his outright desire for attention. He has tested well with other cats at the shelter, so we believe he would do wonderfully as a single cat or as an addition to an existing cat inclusive family! Archer and Asher are not bonded, so they do not need to be adopted together. Asher is neutered, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, and current on prevention. All he needs is a forever home to purr his way into! Complete an adoption survey at https://cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/petadoptionsurvey. All Adoptions require a Pre-Adoption Interview with a YCAS Adoption Counselor, a meet and greet, and adoption approval. Every adoptable cat is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. The adoption fee is $77.
