Ash's Story

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

Ash is a 7 month old male grey tabby. He was trapped as a three month old kitten outdoors along with his mom and siblings including sister Cloud.

Being born outside brings its challenges and it takes time to help them on their journey from feral kittens to loved house cats.

Ash started out quiet, wide eyed, and always hiding. Every day he shows a little bit more of his sweet personality.

Ash will now greet you with a soft nose boop. He likes when you gently pat him while he has his supper. Ash will politely take a treat from your hand. He will purr contentedly and nap while you spend quiet time with him.

Every little step is a magical signal that trust is forming and he is showing that he is ready to continue his path loved and cared for in his forever home.

Ash has been fostered with his sweet sister Cloud. They would be happy together in a small quiet home. Will you be the one to give a warm loving home to these once feral little kittens born outside struggling to survive?

Would you like to make Ash and Cloud a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
