Meet Ash, a cute, shy kitten who along with siblings were found in a box on the busy side of a road. Thankfully, a good samaritan rescued them and got them into appropriate care. Two of Ash's siblings have been adopted and now he is patiently waiting for his forever home.<br/><br/>Ash is friendly but quite shy with fast movements. He and his siblings went through a lot, like almost getting run over by a car, to being transported multiple places for care. Ash will take some time to trust in his new surroundings and the care he will receive. He needs to be reassured there are kind humans in this world and they are ready to help him on his journey to find a loving home. Ash likes pets and has been known to melt into a volunteer's arms when held. He needs a gentle touch, patience, and play! Don't we all?<br/><br/>We believe that kittens are happiest when they have another kitty to play with so Ash will need to be adopted with another kitten or already have a young playful cat at home. <br/><br/>Ash has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Ash's approximate birthdate is 07/04/2025. His adoption fee is $120. <br/><br/>If you are interested in meeting Ash or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, please go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4. <br/><br/>Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.<br/><br/>Thank you!
