Arthur McCheeks

Meet Arthur McCheeks!

If you've ever dreamed of owning a mini-lion with cheeks for days, Arthur McCheeks is your guy. This incredibly handsome boy is here to fulfill all of your "Big Cat" dreams with his stocky, solid build, giant head, and a set of legendary, squeezable cheeks that fully earned him his name—complete with the most adorable built-in "bowtie" marking right under his nose!

McCheeks spent time fending for himself on the streets, but those days are firmly in the past. He has wholeheartedly embraced the luxury of indoor life. He is a very laid-back loaf who loves nothing more than relaxing and soaking up gentle pets and affection from his foster mom.

Based on his teeth, the vet estimated Arthur to be around 8 years old, though he could easily be younger. He recently had a dental with four extractions, so his mouth is feeling wonderful and he is in absolute tip-top shape.

He is wonderful with other cats and has a particularly sweet soft spot for his foster sibling, Truffle. Since Truffle was rescued from the exact same street around the same time, we can't help but wonder if these two were old neighborhood pals back in their street days! I know that McCheeks and Truffle would love to be adopted together, if you have room in your heart for two!

McCheeks did test positive for FIV, but please don't let that deter you—FIV cats often get an unfair rap! FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds (not casual sharing of food, water, or grooming), and FIV+ cats live long, normal, healthy, and happy lives right alongside other friendly felines.

Arthur McCheeks is a big, gentle, easygoing hunk who is ready to bring his massive head, giant heart, and endless charm to a forever home.

Don't miss your chance to bring this love-bug home.
