Arthur's Story

Arthur will be joined at the hip with his future person — except during this midday nap. Once this tabby boy has recharged, it’s back to watching fish videos on YouTube, playing with his favorite worm toys, flopping on humans’ feet, and training people to give him treats on command. This gentleman craves companionship and lots of love — and he deserves it.

There’s one thing that Arthur would like his future family to know and that’s that worm is life. Arthur’s favorite toy is a neon fuzzy worm on a cat fishing pole and he loves to play with it — even when he’s gotten all the fuzz off and is just left with a string. After worm, Arthur loves getting pets and relaxing in awkward poses.

Arthur was found starving and skinny in his foster parents yard. They believe he was either dumped or got lost but have been unable to find any previous owners. Amid the love in his foster home, he has become remarkably sweet, showing his adoration of his foster dad by head-butting his face — a flattering cat compliment. He is looking forward to marking his future family member(s) in a similarly affectionate fashion.

Arthur is a bit shy when you first meet him (most likely due to his time outside) but he warms up quickly. As he’s found more confidence in his foster home, he’s become quite a chatty cat who trills to let you know when it’s time for pets or worm. He’s even beginning to ask for belly pets. Arthur spends all day with his foster mom while she works from home; he’s still coming up to speed on the business world, but he’s become quite an expert at napping near her feet.

Due to his history, Arthur would probably do best in a home with older children, but his foster parents know that, as long as he’s given enough time to get comfortable in his new home, he’ll be a boy with lots of love to give. He likes other cats — though he was not the most confident when he first arrived in his foster home, and he let the resident felines push him aside for food. He has since gained courage and continues to come out of his shell.

Born in mid-December 2023 (estimated), he is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Questions?
