Armani's Story

Armani is an active and vocal girl who is very curious. She enjoys tossing around her toys then taking a snooze on your lap. There is never a dull moment when she is around. One of her favorite things is to lounge in front of the space heater. Armani will require a special home, as she was recently diagnosed with calicivirus. This will be a lifelong condition for her and affects her respiratory system. Most of the time you will be able to hear slight congestion when she breathes, except when she is purring, which is a lot of the time. She will be more susceptible to upper respiratory infections than other cats. Therefore, she will likely need antibiotics from time to time. Although it is rare that a healthy, vaccinated adult cat will become infected from exposure to Armani, it is suggested she be an only cat or housed with other calici cats. If a vaccinated cat were to be infected, the vast majority will not have symptoms or will recover quickly and not be affected long-term. Unvaccinated kittens are at the greatest risk. This virus does not affect humans or other species. If you think you might be interested in giving this sweet girl a home, KRC would be happy to visit with you about her. Her birth date was 4/2/2025.
