Ready Set Rescue is committed to responsible, well-matched adoptions that prioritize the long-term welfare of each animal. All potential adopters must submit an adoption application and receive approval prior to adoption. Applications are reviewed to ensure the adopter’s experience, home environment, and ability to provide proper care align with the animal’s needs. Approved adopters may participate in a meet-and-greet at our facility, a foster home, a public location, or an event. Once approved, adopters must complete an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee. Fees vary by species, age, and medical care provided and directly support food, housing, veterinary care, and rescue operations. Ready Set Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Adopters must be 18 years or older, have landlord approval if applicable, and agree to provide species-appropriate care. Dogs and cats are spayed or neutered prior to adoption when age and health allow, or adopted with a sterilization agreement.
