Arla's Story

Arla is laidback kitten. It runs in the family; her brother and sister, Bentley and Grace, are the same way. Arla is a LAP KITTY, easy to hold and carry, confident, gets along with all the foster kittens, cats and resident cats in her foster home, and has a tendency to be a shadow kitten. She has to walk her foster mom to bed at night and get as much love and attention as possible. She will thank you with cheek or hand kisses. Arla has a great energy level and hasn't been destructive. She will play with the little foster kittens, but for short times. She enjoys just watching. She will be a great addition to any home environment. Arla hasn't been around dogs, but her foster mom believes she wouldn't have a problem. Arla was born around March 22, 2025, and is currently being fostered in Naugatuck. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

We adopt to CT residents ONLY. We do not ship our animals. If you are interested in adopting, please send us an application from our website (www.fosterandforever.org) or send us an email (fosterandforever@gmail.com). For the safety of our cats and adopter’s children, families with children under 5 years of age will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. All of our animals are housed at volunteer foster homes. One of the most rewarding ways you can make a difference in the lives of homeless animals is by volunteering to be a foster pet parent. Fostering gets animals out of shelters and unsafe conditions into safe, loving, homes where they can grow and heal until they are ready for permanent adoption. We are always in need of foster homes for cats! Foster and Forever will provide food and litter and cover all veterinary costs; all you need is a safe place and an open heart.
