Ariel's Story

Our sweet 4 month old Ariel is looking for her forever home.

Ariel is a special case. Her back legs were born deformed, with her hip joints not in place and the patella bone luxating and floating away from the kneecap area. We took her to an orthopedic surgeon who says she will be like this forever and doesn’t want to put her under painful surgery if she isn’t in pain anymore.
But that doesn’t stop her from living her life. She loves to jump on top of the highest point of the cat tree and sneak attack you when you walk by. And she loves to love you for hours! According to the foster, her purr sounds are therapeutic for both of them. She gets along with cats and would probably do well with a dog.

Ariel has received all of her distemper shots and will be spayed, SNAP tested, and receive her rabies vaccine by next month. Since she is such a special case, we are willing to waive the fee for the right individual.

Contact us by going to gratefulpawsnj.com/adopt and apply for Ariel. Don’t let this little mermaid swim away.
