Ariel's Story
Ariel is about 2 years old and is the very definition of a sweet, quiet companion. She’s gentle, thoughtful, playful, and affectionate. When she’s feeling social, she loves being held over your shoulder, and she’s known to softly meow for attention at bedtime before hopping up for pets and a bit of play.

Ariel is confident and comfortable around new people, greeting visitors with quiet curiosity rather than hesitation. She often comes to say hello when you arrive home. When you start to pet her, she leans in with affectionate little headbutts, clearly enjoying the connection. It doesn’t hurt that she’s truly beautiful — the kind of cat who naturally draws your eye without trying.

Ariel has lived with other cats, but with her gentle nature, she's been bullied a bit by some, so we are looking for a home where she can get all the attention, without having to look over her shoulder to see who might be coming to push her aside. She has made the acquaintance of some human kids, and we think she would be agreeable to living with them, as long as they are kind and respectful. She has no special needs, other than lots of affection and of course the high-quality food we provide to all our rescued kitties.

Ariel enjoys sleeping with her people sometimes, and when she doesn’t, she’s never far away. She still plays with toys like a kitten, full of curiosity and charm. With her warm amber eyes and darker tabby markings, she looks especially elegant stretched out in a patch of sunlight—one of her favorite places to lounge.

Ariel has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV. and is up to date on vaccines. The adoption fee is $100.

If you are interested in meeting Ariel please complete the adoption interest form on our website (www.pdx-petadoption.org) and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly.

Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering our pets for adoption.
