Aria's Story
UPDATE 1-8-2026
LONG TERM RESIDENT
LESS ADOPTABLE
Aria. She is now 6-1/2+ years old and has been in the shelter since she was a baby. She has had a rough few years with her tail. She was chewing at it and causing a lot of problems but has pushed through. And now she's considered one of our less adoptable cats due to her tail, mood changes, and her over eagerness with people. She is friendly, sometimes overly friendly, wanting to jump on your shoulders or demand attention, and then as abruptly decide she doesn't want attention. She coexists with the other cats in her room without problems, she's spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She will need someone willing to take her as she is and love her just as she is. If you are the right person for Aria, please contact Connie and be sure to mention you are aware of her less adoptable traits.

Please call (217) 799-8858 or (217) 655-4353 and email
citizensanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application.
C.A.R.A.
