Ari's Story
Say hello to Ari, a charming 11-year-old tabby with a zest for life and a heart of gold. Friendly, affectionate, and endlessly lovable, Ari is the kind of cat who makes you feel like the most important person in the world the moment you walk in the door. Born in May 2015, Ari has that classic Gemini spark—bright-eyed, sociable, and always curious about what you’re doing. She’ll happily follow you around to “help” with chores, settle in for cuddles when it’s time to relax, and shower you with headbutts just when you need them most. Her name, Ari, means “sun-like,” and it couldn’t be more fitting—she brings warmth, light, and comfort to everyone she meets. Ari was found abandoned in the countryside with her sister Dulcie. Despite her past, she has remained incredibly resilient and loving, and she’s now ready to find a home of her own. Ari would do best as the only cat in the home where she can soak up all the love she deserves—but she could also be adopted together with her sister Dulcie, as long as both girls receive plenty of attention and reassurance (they can get a little jealous of one another). If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion to brighten your life, Ari just might be your purr-fect match.

Ari has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS. Ari is also on a wet food only diet.

To express an interest in adopting her, you need to fill out our adoption application, including as much detail as possible at https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/. Please be sure that your email address is correct. If your application is accepted, KittyCorner will contact you via email to set up a time for you to come and meet her.

We require a donation of $100 per kitten/cat that will contribute to the cost of veterinary care that the kitten/cat received for all the above-mentioned procedures/treatments.

KittyCorner is a New York State Registered Shelter/Rescue, Registration Number: RR0279.

*All kittycorner.org kittens/cats come with a lifetime “cat-back” guarantee. If at any time, for any reason they need to be returned/rehomed, please just return them to KittyCorner. We will happily take them back as our mission is to ensure that all our adoptees will always have a safe place to stay and call home.
