Aretha Franklin's Story

Fostered in Vista
DOB 1/22/26

Aretha Franklin is a sweet, gorgeous black kitten. She is very shy at first, but once she is settled in, will come up to you and want to be petted or just be near you. She loves to run, play, discover new toys and things to climb on. She would adore being adopted with one of her siblings, such as Annie Lennox. Like any kitten she is very curious but enjoys playing with her siblings most of all. She might do best in a quieter home as she startles at loud noises, but it doesn't take her long to come back out and enjoy herself.

Aretha loves to curl up somewhere comfy to sleep. She is great with the large, gentle dog in her foster home and has done well with the adult cats there.

Aretha is up to date on all of her age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, has been wormed and microchipped.

Today Tomorrow Forever Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
The first step in adopting any TTF rescue animal is to fill out an application under our adoptions page. Upon completion, one of our adoption coordinators will be in contact with you shortly. It can be as little as 1-2 days. After filling out our online adoption application, our adoption coordinators review the application and reach out to speak with the applicant directly. The application allows us to help you choose the right pet for you and your family. Upon approval, an interaction will be scheduled directly with the foster family. It is at this time, the pet’s foster family can provide more information about your potential pet and if everyone is in agreement, the new family member can come home the same day. Depending on the pet and situation, a home check may be scheduled to determine if there are any inadvertent dangers in your home. We want to make sure you, your family, and the pet are the best fit possible as this is a commitment for the animal’s lifetime.
