Ares's Story

Presenting the 'Gods and Goddesses' litter: Ares, Zeus, Athena and Selene! These four kittens were born outside on a rural property to a feral mom who disappeared when the kittens were about 2 ½ months old. A New Hope volunteer managed to trap them and has been doing a wonderful job raising and socializing them. Ares is the most active, playful, and inquisitive kitten of the litter. He has a lot of energy and prefers playing with his toys and siblings over being picked up and cuddled. He would do fine in a home with older respectful children, other cats and possibly a calm cat friendly dog. If there are no other pets in the home Zeus will have to be adopted as a pair with another kitten since he is under 6 months old (born August 25). He is up to date on his vaccinations but will have to be returned to New Hope for his neuter, microchip and any remaining boosters when he is old enough. The cost of this is included in his adoption fee of $250. Ares is still in his foster home in Kitchener and being shown there. If you are interested in meeting him, please contact us at 519-836-9780 (Monday-Friday 8am-3pm only) or by email at NHARescueguelph@gmail.com to set up an appointment!
