Meet Archie - a sweet, but shy boy looking for his forever home! Archie is shy at first, but once you pet him, he quickly realizes humans aren't so bad. He will need a warm up period to adjust as he's gone through a lot of changes in his short life, but we are confident he will be happy in any type of home! He gets along with other cats and would do great with a feline friend with slow proper introductions. Archie is neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped and FeLV/FIV negative! Carver-Scott Humane Society's Adoption Policy

At the Carver Scott Humane Society, we follow an Adopter's Welcome philosophy. This means that instead of an overwhelming application process, home visits, and hoop jumping, we take a conversational approach to our adoptions. Our goal is to make adoptions possible and help you be a successful pet parent! Once an application is submitted, we take applications as "first-come, first-considered." While this does not guarantee that the first applicant will adopt the animal of their choice, it does guarantee that we will process the application all the way through before moving on to the next application in line. If you see an animal you are interested in, please apply as soon as possible! This does not obligate you to the animal in case you change your mind, but may assist in securing your place in line for that animal.
