Archer's Story

Male/DOB:1/21/25 Archer got his name after we rescued him from under the golden arches of a McDonald’s parking lot. Living so close to a very, very busy street is simply no place for such a sweet lad! While that is how he got his name, it turns out his name suits him well. He is a consummate gentleman. He is incredibly well behaved and polite. Archer is a gentle soul who just loves to be pet. When we rescued him, he was absolutely terrified, but he never showed even a hint of aggression. It became apparent quite quickly how sweet and loving he was. He just loves to love, and he can’t wait for you to take him home so that he can shower you with affection!

Our story began in 2008 when we were part of a small group of independent rescuers who came together to rescue 88 cats from an eviction situation. Most of the cats were not friendly enough to be adopted. We searched and found placements far and wide (8 cats were flown to a sanctuary in Arizona!). We undertook a similar r...
