ARBUTUS & BARBERRY's Story
ARBUTUS - grey and white spayed female
BARBERRY - black and white neutered male
Approximately 2 years old

BONDED SIBLINGS, MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER
Adoption fee: $410 for both

These two sweet siblings have always been together and want to stay that way. They play and cuddle together and Arbutus looks to Barberry for comfort and security. They require a calm, consistent indoor home.

Arbutus is sweet and playful and seeks out affection but is very scared and needs to move at her own pace. It will take time for her to trust and come out of her shell. Her new home will need to be understanding and respect her boundaries. In the right home she will be a lovely pet but will likely always be a bit skittish and hide from visitors at first.

Barberry is a very affectionate and playful boy - he plays hard and cuddles harder! He enjoys being a lap cat and soaking up as much attention as he can. He can be vocal and a bit demanding when he wants to play. He would do well in a home with lots of attention and stimulation.

Both cats like being around people once they are comfortable, and follow their foster mom around the house. Barberry likes to sleep on the bed at night.

Arbutus had some issues related to stress at her former home, but she has improved greatly with treatment and a calm environment. CRPAWS will advise her new owner on tapering off her medication once she settles in.

Their ideal home would be a quiet household where Arbutus can continue learning to relax and Barberry can have lots of attention. They have limited experience with other cats and we don't know if they have any experience with children or dogs. They will probably be happiest as the only cats in the house.

Arbutus and Barberry have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked, and vaccinated. Their medical records will accompany them upon adoption.

If you would like to be their new family, please submit an application using this link: HTTPS://CRPAWS.ca/adoption If you are interested in more than one CRPAWS cat, include all their names on your application.

Every application is considered carefully by our small but mighty team of volunteers. We will be in touch as soon as possible, normally in 3 days or less.
