Meet April — A Gentle Heart in Search of Her Forever Home

April’s story is one of quiet transformation. When she first arrived at our sanctuary as a tiny springtime kitten, she was shy and uncertain, unsure of the world around her. But with time, love, and patience, this beautiful girl has blossomed into a sweet, tender companion — now she just needs the right home to complete her journey.

April is a soft soul who thrives in the company of other calm, gentle cats. She absolutely adores snuggling with her feline friends, often curling up in a cozy pile for warmth, comfort, and companionship. She feels safest and happiest when she has a calm kitty companion by her side — and for that reason, we would love to see her adopted with a trusted shelter friend she already knows and loves.

With people, April is shy at first — but once she trusts you, she enjoys gentle pets, quiet snuggles, and will reward your patience with soft purrs and affection. She isn’t a bold, outgoing cat, but she is incredibly loving in her own peaceful, steady way. Watching her bloom into a confident companion will be one of the most rewarding experiences for her future family.

April’s Info:
Born approximately 3/1/2024;
Sleek black coat;
Spayed;
Up to date on vaccinations;
Tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV;
Flea-treated, dewormed, and healthy.

April will do best in a calm home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace, surrounded by understanding people and maybe even a snuggly feline friend.

She’s waited so patiently for someone to see the beauty and love she has to offer.
