Sweet, shy April came to the Goathouse in the spring of 2018 along with her adorable litter of kittens. Her babies have all found homes of their own, but April is still waiting for that special someone to come along. April doesn't tend to seek out attention, but with her calm and gentle personality, we just know she'd be a purrfect match for anyone seeking a quiet furry companion to join their family. Goathouse Refuge Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in a Goathouse Refuge cat! We are open to visitors Fridays by appointments, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-3pm EST. Before you submit an adoption application, please make sure you are familiar with our Adoption Process (www.goathouserefuge.org/process/). To expedite the process, please complete all fields on the application. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age; please be aware that we do not adopt to undergraduate college students.

Our Mission

We are a no-kill cat rescue that seeks to find permanent forever homes for adoptable cats & kittens and to provide a permanent refuge to cats that may not be suited for life in a traditional home setting.
