She is the ultimate "best of all worlds" kitty: silly enough to keep you laughing, but calm enough to be the world’s best nap partner. She is a tiny, chatty, golden-hearted lady who has never met a stranger—human, canine, or feline whom she didn't love.<br/><br/>🦾 The Little Warrior in Recovery<br/>Apricot has had a bit of a rough road lately, and she’s currently feeling a little "bummed out." She’s been a very brave girl through surgeries to repair both of her back legs. She should not need any extra care now, but as she ages may need joint support suppliments. <br/><br/>The Countdown: She is currently in her "healing era." She is working hard on her physical therapy and won't be 100% ready to leap into her forever home until June 17th, 2026.<br/><br/>The Good News: Once she’s cleared for takeoff, she’s going to be the most versatile companion you’ve ever had.<br/><br/>🛒 The Stroller Socialite<br/>Apricot isn't just a house cat; but a social butterfly<br/><br/>The Neighborhood Watch: She is the perfect candidate for a pet stroller. She’s ready to be wheeled around the block to greet her fans and supervise the local squirrels.<br/><br/>The Bedtime Snuggler: After her big outdoor excursions, she wants nothing more than to tuck you in at night and offer some high-quality cuddles.<br/><br/>💬 The Chatty Groomer<br/>Conversationalist: She is "chatty" and will happily tell you all about her day (or her opinions on the current snack situation).<br/><br/>Self-Care Queen: She takes immense pride in her coat and is always looking pristine. She’s a "beauty and brains" package deal.<br/><br/>The Fly Hunter: While she loves every creature she meets, she makes one exception: Flies. If there is a fly on the wall, her "calm" goes out the window and the hunt is on!<br/><br/>💖 The Mango Connection (The "Zing")<br/>While Apricot is amazing with kids, dogs, and every human she meets, her heart has a very specific GPS coordinate, and it leads straight to Mango.<br/><br/>Bonded for Life: They are the ultimate "Yin and Yang." They just get each other. Mango provides the calm cuddles and Apricot provides the playful, goofy stability.<br/><br/>The Deal: You can’t have the zest without the fruit! Apricot and Mango are a mandatory duo.<br/><br/>📋 The Ideal "Waitlist" Family<br/>Apricot is looking for a family with a little bit of patience. She needs someone who is willing to wait for her to fully heal so she can start her new life at 100%. If you have a stroller, a comfy bed, and a lot of love for a bonded pair, Apricot (and her man Mango) are waiting for you!<br/><br/>We are accepting applications for this dynamic duo however due to Apricot's surgeries they/she will not be ready to go until June 17th 2026.
