Apricot (and Banana)'s Story
Apricot is the most wonderful little cat. She ADORES her people and will sit for hours in her foster mom's lap. She does struggle with gravity and so often asks to be picked up as she prefers to be carried around to walking (who can blame her?). When sitting in your lap she loves to give lots of nose kisses, sometimes finger nibbles, and once she's done she settles down for a nice nap.

Don't let the naps fool you, however! She has great career aspirations, dreaming to be a manager for WFH parents. While she doesn't micromanage, she does help keep you at your desk by whining when you get up. But as it means you will continue to have the sweetest little cat in your lap, it's definitely carrot-on-a-stick encouragement as there's no way you would want to get up to leave her.

She is best friends with her brother, Banana, so does need to go home with him, but he's equally amazing, so it's just extra winning of the cat lottery. While Apricot does get along with some of the other animals in her foster home, she's not a big fan of them, so would probably prefer to go to a home without any existing cats. If you were looking for a trio of cats, she and Banana love Plum, but they do not need to go home with her. She puts up with the dogs in her current home, but does occasionally find them to be tiresome and will yell at them, which is actually really cute. She also will talk to her people, often to let them know that she's done with gravity and needs to be carried, wants to be pet, or just to be social.

As for Banana, he's the cutest, goofiest, silliest cat ever. He rarely has the one braincell that all orange cats share, but that doesn't stop him from being amazing! It does tend to stop him from remembering to close his mouth fully, but it's adorable and he doesn't drool, so it's another win for him. He isn't as much of a lap cat as Apricot is, but when he cuddles, he loves to pet you. He will also gladly accept pets, but he's a giver, so insists on gently touching your face with his paws. He's always done it and he's so soft and sweet about it that is hard not to love.

He does have a wonky left elbow from an infection when he was a kitten, but as he's always had it, it doesn't bother him at all. He may eventually develop a little arthritis in it, but it doesn't cause any issues currently. He still LOVES to play, with wand toys being his favorite. He also gets the zoomies sometimes and as he's a wee bit bottom heavy, he just lopes around the house happy as can be, providing so much entertainment.

Apricot and Banana are truly the most amazing, sweetest cats and their foster mom will miss them greatly. They haven't been around many people, but are fearless around the people they know and so outgoing. We believe they'll do well in any calm house, though they may find very active, young kids to be a bit much.

While they have been in foster care for longer than usual, it has nothing to do with them and is due to health issues their foster mom was having.

They are in a foster home in NW Gilbert and an adoption application can be found at linktr.ee/bottlebabykittens
