Apricot's Story
Apricot, and his sibling Persimmons came to Fieldhaven after multiple kittens had been spotted at the Dixon Fruit Stand by a concerned good Samaritan. Both teenagers were brought into our clinic to be spayed/neutered and then the plan was to release them back to the colony at the Fruit Stand after they recovered. Of course, the kitties had other plans! When observed, both kitties showed signs of having social skills so the decision was made to place them into a foster home to continue to help them warm up to us humans! Apricot is a curious boy who can't resist slowly coming up for pets and rubs. He has beautiful green eyes that reflect his sweet-natured spirit. He loves to play, especially with string toys and springs are his favorite. He gets along with other cats, especially his little sister Persimmons who he loves to snuggle with. Apricot is still adjusting to his new life, not always liking being picked up for example, so would do best in a calm, quiet environment with a mature family who understands how to continue with his socialization. If you're ready for a playful, smart kitty come see Apricot! He's ready for his forever home!!! Adoption Fee: $125.00 or 2 kittens for $200.00 <font face = "Arial"size="2"> All cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, have received age-appropriate vaccines and are microchipped.click here
