Sauce's resume includes phrases such as "self-sufficient, girl boss, motivated, and go-getter." When Applesauce is in managerial mode, she likes to sweep the house and ensure she is fully aware of all goings-on and that all assigned tasks are completed. She does not shy away from her curiosity, which makes her the best combination of sweet and spicy. You will never believe that Sauce falls into the senior category, having both the energy and curiosity of a much younger cat. In addition to her leadership duties, Sauce is no stranger to relaxing. She loves a spot on a soft chair or the back of the couch to catnap away the afternoon. <br/><br/>Applesauce enjoys human companionship, and she relishes head petting when it does not interfere with her other self-appointed activities. One of her favorite pastimes is waiting near the faucet in the kitchen, hoping someone will turn it on for her (see the video). In her foster home, Sauce has lived with several cats and a medium-sized dog whom she likes to remind about her leadership duties. She has done well with very young cats and older, relaxed cats. With slow introductions, she could adjust to other kitties and dogs in the house, or she would be fine as the only cat in the fold. Additionally, we think she would do best in a home with older children and adults. <br/><br/>Applesauce has skin allergies and is currently on special food and allergy medicine to address the itching. She has responded remarkably to this regimen, and it shows in the glow she exudes-just look at the pictures!
