With time, patience, repeated interactions with staff and volunteers, and a little Churu, Apple Cider has come a long way! She absolutely loves to play with string toys and will now lean in for head pets! There are times, of course, when she plays with someone's hands instead of the toy, and she's not shy about letting our clinic staff know when she doesn't want to be bothered, so that's where the spice comes in! Being in the shelter has been stressful for her since the day she arrived, and Apple Cider would likely finally be able to relax a little if she landed a forever home of her own.
